Why did you choose this?

I had one of these harnesses a long time ago for a dog that couldn't use her back legs. I liked the material it was made of as it would give a little so not to injure the dog. I hope it is still made out of the same material.

Can the dog easily go poo poo while wearing the harness?
A shopper on Jul 8, 2016
Best Answer: I think that should be fine. The harness is pretty amazing and fits well. My pup uses hers for getting in and out of the car and up stairs. Luckily, we don't leave it on her all the time right now so she hasn't pooped with it on but she should be able to easily.

She is a 68 lb black lab. Should I get the large?
Roz B on Apr 29, 2016
Best Answer: Abdomen - Measure the circumference of the abdomen directly in front of the back legs
Upper Thigh (Back Leg) - Measure the circumference of the upper thigh (back leg) at the point where it meets the body.
Also, the sizing chart is in the product summary. Hope that helps!

My male dog has an inoperable groin hernia, does the underside of this harness look like it would support this? Or modified to support?
NERF M on Jul 19, 2016
Best Answer: There is a possibility that it could but I do want to point out that the intended use of this product is to provide support to dog with joint/hip/back problems. Its design does not take into account any kind of support for what you are looking for. I would speak with your vet to see if he feels this would be a good fit for your particular situation.

My 11.5 yr old labradoodle has osteosarcoma and had his right hind leg amputated. He has fallen several times and now has a huge hematoma on his back and is in a lot of pain and can't support himself to walk. Will the walkabout work with his only have one hind leg?
