They all love it and it's good for them!
All three of my very different dogs with very different tastes love it. I can finally use one dry food for all. It has the protein, fruits and vegetables that I look for. (They get grains thru their dog cookies.) It gives them the stuff they need to stay healthy.

My Keeshond loves this
My Kees has developed a sensitivity to chicken and finding a food that doesn't have chicken or grains was a challenge. He really loves this and after a month is doing much better. Something I might even be happier than he is about!

My dog loves this!
We have been feeding a different brand of food-still high quality- but our Bernese Mountain dog would just look at us before grudgingly eating it. Since we changed to Taste of the Wild he needs no encouragement but dives right in!

Someone gave me a sample and my dog liked it. He doesn't like many dried dog foods, so I am hoping this works.

Have been feeding Taste Of The Wild grain free kibble for years now and my dogs as well as the rescues I foster do wonderful on it. I send home a sample with my adopters when they adopt one of the rescues.

I am trying to understand what is: dried Enterococcus faecium fermentation product, dried Lactobacillus acidophilus fermentation product, dried Lactobacillus casei fermentation product, dried Lactobacillus plantarum fermentation product, dried Trichoderma longibrachiatum fermentation extract, as well as iron proteinate, zinc proteinate, copper proteinate.
I am understand the need for probiotics, but why instead of probiotics company included dried fermentation product. What exactly they fermented? And about proteinate - there is not such word in English language. It seems to say that this is USA product - why use not English words which mean nothing.
Marina P on Aug 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The probiotics are dried and fermented to preserve longevity. Often, probiotics are added prior to the cooking process where the cultures are killed and no longer active. Taste of the wild now adds the probiotics after the cooking process to guarantee that for every pound of food, 100 million live, active cultures make it into your pet's system.

Manganese Proteinate: Manganese proteinate is a source of manganese, which is chelated with amino acids to improve the bioavailability. Manganese is a mineral that has a vital role in the proper function of cells within the body. It is necessary for the formation of bone and joint cartilage and neurological function.
How much would a 60lb dog need a day? Or how long would a bag last?
AF_ B on Nov 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: My German Shepherd that weighed 100 # got 3 cups in the am and 3 cups in the pm as he was older and needed the extra weight. A large bag lasted me about 6 weeks. So for your dog maybe 11 weeks. It is very good dog food. If your dog is fixed you won't need as much as my fixed German Shepherd that weighed 150 # gained weight on it and I had to put him on a special Hill's Science diet food. He is losing but he was fixed. My other dog was a stud! Hope this helps....if you ever want a nice dog friendly vacation come visit us a Coffee Creek Ranch. Ruth Hartman
