The price and that it is comparable to Rovera which the vet recommended. Rovera doesn't work well for my dog plus its very expensive. This is the next best option for my dog.

My dog's vet put my dog who is 13 yrs old on an anti inflammatory drug (Carprofen) 100mg. once a day for pain joint/hips. I wanted to see if I could find something that is comparable for his pain but more natural and less expensive. I'm hoping that he does well with Nutri-Vet Dog Aspirin.

really helps control her discomfort from arthritis, other brands not as effective for her

Have been using this product for some time, it is unbelievable how it helps our 13 yr old German Shepherd. Highly recommend

I needed temporary pain management for an injured dog who could not tolerate things like Carprofen at the time. Don't worry! He was treated by a veterinarian first!

I have senior dogs with typical joint pain, especially after a long walk or workout in the yard. I prefer to give them these aspirins made for dogs than the human aspirins.

Works fast and great price.

I have a 8 year old dog that suffered some injuries when young. After playing hard or a long walk she aches a little. I give her one and she feels better.

Is this safe to give your dog everyday for pain?
diana p on Jun 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: For my dog the Vet had recommended one a day for his arthritis..he is almost 14 and bern using aspirin for two years straight and doing fine...
What is the active ingredient in this?
A shopper on Dec 11, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I can't give you the active ingredient in this without checking the bottle but it acted like a human aspirin on my older dogs that didn't like to be given a pill by convention methods ( open mouth insert pill). They would take this one like a treat and it helped the aches and pains for them.
How is this similar to Caprofen 100mg?
Rosemarie R on Sep 20, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I used Carprofen with my dog (part Rottweiler and part Lab) and he got very lethargic, had forceful diarrhea, lack of appetite and he started falling around and losing his balance. Once I took him off, he became his normal self again.
What is the active ingrediant?
Rosemarie R on Sep 20, 2015
BEST ANSWER: 300 mg of Aspirin. I bought this product but did not use it; I feel 100 mg/day of Carprofen is much better for my 90 lb. Lab (about $1/day)!
