Did not last too long.

How durable is the rope on the kong rope toy? Our dog unravels rope in all tug toys tried (all designed for large dog, extreme chewers) and destroys them in minutes.

Best Answer: Well, Kathy, the rope did not stay in the ball very long. We still have the ball and I will put treats in it from time to time for Marley to chew on but my dog pulled the rope out immediately and shredded it. He is really very tough on toys. I thought I had found a good squeaky ball for him because it lasted over a week but then he got a "wild hair" and destroyed it, squeaker and all. I wish there was something lasting that he could play with but I haven't found it yet.
