The following drugs can potentially interact with pyrantel pamoate: levamisole, organophosphates, diethylcarbamazine, and piperazine. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together. Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; vomiting; widespread hives and itching.

Side Effects:
Side effects may include loss appetite, vomiting, drowsiness, and diarrhea. Ivermectin may cause a shock like reaction in dogs. If this occurs, notify your veterinarian. Other side effects may occur. If you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian.

My puppy weighs 58 pounds. We have leftover 26-50 Iverhart plus. Is it okay to give him 2 of the 26-50 to use them up?
A shopper on Aug 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It's probably not the best thing to do, but to use up leftover ones it should be fine.

BEST ANSWER: It depends on the size of the dog. Also, it is a 6 pack, so a box is for 6 months.
