Is this liquid or pill form?
A shopper on May 19, 2017
Best Answer: It's a liquid in in individual flat, plastic vials. There's a narrow end that you snap, then part the dog's fir behind the neck (so it cannot lick the stuff off) and squirt onto skin. Very simple.

my dog is 21.5 lbs and is 3 years old. Should I buy the up to 22 lb frontline or the 23 - 44 ilb frontline?
Marsha P on Nov 17, 2014
Best Answer: I'd feel comfortable going to the larger size (I have a 45 pound and a 95 pound dog, and I give them each the 50-100 pound meds). You may want to check with your vet, to confirm.

my dog weighs 165 pounds, will this protect him?
Jeff R on Jun 21, 2016
Best Answer: I would suggest that you use 2 of the 46-88 pound size at a time. My friend has English Mastiffs and she has to use two of the large ones on them. You want to use what would go over the lbs. of your dog. Two of the 46 - 88 lbs. should cover up to 176 lbs and you want the dosage to be a little higher than your dog weighs. Watch your dog carefully to be sure it does not have a reaction, as sometimes you have to switch to Advantage of they have skin irritation from Frontline, or vice versa. You can confirm this with your vet if you have questions.

Do I need a veterinarian prescription to buy Frontline plus here?
Chris on Mar 31, 2016
Best Answer: No prescription needed, ever. Just order as much as you need and cheaper than the vet or any pet pharmacy.

I just moved to an area that apparently has fleas in the warmer months. How is this applied and do you apply all year? I moved to this area mid October, 2016 and it is now 3/8/17 and haven't seen one flea yet.
George S on Mar 9, 2017
Best Answer: I apply the frontline by spreading the dogs fur and squeezing on the skin around the area between the shoulders on their backs. My best success has been to start the frontline in the spring before the fleas start getting bad outdoors. It prevents the dogs from getting an infestation. I usually apply it all warm months till it starts to cool off and the fleas are killed by the cold weather outside.
