PetSafe® Easy Walk® Harness

The Easy Walk® Harness is designed to gently discourage your dog from pulling on the leash. Easy to fit and comfortable to wear, it makes walking enjoyable for you and your dog. Traditional harnesses can actually encourage dogs to pull harder because of the “opposition reflex,” which is the reflex that makes sled dogs do what they do. The unique front-chest leash attachment of the Easy Walk® Harness helps you steer your dog to the side and redirect his or her attention toward you. The chest strap rests across your dog's chest instead of putting pressure on the delicate throat, so there is no choking or gagging.

Features:

  • Discourages pulling on the leash
  • Quick-snap buckles on shoulder and belly straps provide easy on and off
  • Four adjustment points provide maximum comfort and reliable fit
  • Martingale loop at chest prevents twisting
  • Belly strap is a complementary color, making it easy to tell which strap goes over the shoulders and which strap goes under the belly

can this harness be used with a 16 ft leash?
A shopper on Mar 18, 2016
Best Answer: The purpose of having the ring on the chest is to better steer/control your dog while walking; so having a distance of 16ft would defeat the purpose of steering, I think. I bought 2 of these for my small dogs and have been happy with them when walking (not jogging). Careful with chafing if the latches sit right under the armpit. =>
