Didn't slow my dog down
Nice well made bowl, it is heavy enough that my dog doesn't have to chase it around but it did not slow her down

What is your pet?:
Dog - Medium
Doesn't sloe them down at all.
The bowls are well made and very nice material. The problem is that we bought them to slow down our two dogs from eating their meals in 1.5 minutes, and then start belching and having other digestive problems. The new bowls didn't slow them down at all. They gobbled the meals just as fast as they did in the bowls that had nothing to supposedly stop them. My wife and I couldn't believe it, but they ate around the circle just as fast as eating normally in their original bowls. The bowls need more convoluted obstructions it was like watching them eat on a merry-go-round!

Slow feeder bowl
This bowl is exactly what I was looking. It is sturdy, very well made, and reasonably priced. It is molded with the knob in the center, unlike many other slow feeder bowls that has an insert that is secured by a suction cup. I highly recommend this bowl.

Great Bowl & does slow them down!
I've tried several types of slow feed bowls and this one is my pick! It's made of sturdy stainless steel which is easy to keep clean. I love the rubber ring around the bottom which stays in place and keeps it from sliding too much. Highly recommend this one!!

Perfect go-slow bowl
This small bowl holds a full scoop of dry food. My little dog needs to go slow and she started to chew up a plastic bowl. Now she can be slowed down and the bowl is sturdy and will last a long time.

Works so far
I like the bowl but it is a little big for using with my cats. I like that it doesn't slide around and that it is dishwasher safe. If the bowl came in a smaller size I would give 5 stars.

Very good, but still slide
We have beagles who inhale their food. These bowls have slowed them down but they are still light enough for them to push them around. The rubber base helps but they still move them all over. They appear to be very durable and are easy to clean in the dishwasher, much better than plastic bowls. We tried a couple of other slow food bowls and they had a hard time getting the food, and using a bigger size would have probably defeated the whole purpose. The dura pet style has worked well for us and the small size is perfect for beagles

Slowed my dog down some
This is a great bowl, but for a fast eater it doesn't slow them down that much, especially after they get use to eating out of it.

Great Water Bo
I use these so my Bichon will not immerse the muzzle in the water bowl . I like the stainless because it is bacteriostatic and easy to clean .

I have two dogs of different size and weight but each eat and drink too fast and have burps and gas, they don't understand that they feel bad because they eat and drink so fast, but these bowls should slow them down due to their structure.

One of my dogs is a "Hoggie Doggie", eats way to fast. Hoping this will be the solution to slow him down some!
GAIL R on Jun 10, 2014
I chose this bowl because it is stainless steel, has a rubber ring for gripping on the bottom and the price was reasonable. Hopefully it will slow my dobie down as she has already had bloat surgery but still gulps her food down.

Will the Medium size one hold 3.5 cups of food or do I need the Large?
Nancy F on May 30, 2014
how much food does the small bowl hold?
A shopper on Dec 4, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I use this bowl for water so that my white dogs will not get their muzzle so wet . So as far as water goes , 16 ounces fills it just about the top of the middle divider
How much food does the small bowl hold and what are the dimensions of the diameter pls?
Amy W on Dec 4, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Enter anNot at home so I don't know the dimesions but we have beagles and feed them about 2/3 a cup at a time and is about half full. We really like them although they still do slide some on our tile floor. They have also been effective in stopping them from inhaling their food, not completely but better. I would reccommend. Only issue is that some of them have a tougher time getting the kibble from the bottom due to the diameter of the food area(between the edge of the bowl and the center). If your do has a wide nose it may be tough to fit in their. answer to this question.
Want the medium size but no medium is listed. Do you have it or not?
A shopper on Feb 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I apologize as the medium is no longer available for purchase.
