Been pleased with these clippers. in the pass.. Also I trim 6-8 dogs in between grooming. With the price you cant go wrong. even if you had to replace every year. i normally replace every other. just to make sure they are sharp. I like the clean cut they give.

can toenails be over cut?

BEST ANSWER: The blades of this clipper are very, very thick. I think it would be very possible to "overcut" if you are not careful.There is a guard that is supposed to keep you from cutting to far but because the blades are so thick it is still possible to cut too much off. I have a cheaper clipper with thinner blades that I actually prefer.
