Was looking for something just like this. I have some small bronze bells that I'd used for previous dogs, but current rescue dog would be afraid of the noise I'm certain -- too strong a noise.

I will be bell training my dogs to go outside -- training with the bell provides a very clear and effective way for the dog to communicate when he needs to go out.

how does it work?
mary p on Nov 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: it takes time. Everytime one opens the door, swing the bell so it would ring. Eventually, the dog will ring the bell with it's nose when it wants to go out. Problem. Hard to say no to dog when it rings the bell and you don't want to let it out. Also, you need to be in the same room so you can hear the bell.
