I thought, based on the reviews, that this would be a thicker terry cloth. It is very lightweight, and the velcro closures have already snagged and pulled the terry cloth in several areas. It is a bit scratchy, not very soft. But, it does stop water from going everywhere when she shakes and it stays on much better than a towel wrapped around her. Not a bad value, just not great.

My chihuahua LOVES this robe!!! He is always chilly after a bath and he HATES the blowdryer, so this is perfect for him. And he thinks he is super cool strutting around the house in his robe....

I was very sceptical to buy this since it is so low in price, my assumption was that the quality would be low, too. I was pleasently suprised that it was quite contrary. The robe is absolutely adorable and made quite well. It is not very thick so it wont be able to soak up too much water, however it is perfect for dogs after they are dried off with a towel. My mini schnauzer loves his medium robe!

This is perfect for after a bath. My little teacup pomeranian shrinks when she is wet, so before I can blow dry her, she likes to wear her bathrobe and run around in the carpet and rugs for a bit first. It actually helps her dry off and oh my gosh, does it make for some CUTE pictures for my little doggies album! You have to capture every moment, just like you do with your human children.
