Have been feeding Taste Of The Wild grain free kibble for years now and my dogs as well as the rescues I foster do wonderful on it. I send home a sample with my adopters when they adopt one of the rescues.

This is the only food my amiable but fussy lab mix will eat!
Deborah E on Sep 14, 2014
I am trying to understand what is: dried Enterococcus faecium fermentation product, dried Lactobacillus acidophilus fermentation product, dried Lactobacillus casei fermentation product, dried Lactobacillus plantarum fermentation product, dried Trichoderma longibrachiatum fermentation extract, as well as iron proteinate, zinc proteinate, copper proteinate.
I am understand the need for probiotics, but why instead of probiotics company included dried fermentation product. What exactly they fermented? And about proteinate - there is not such word in English language. It seems to say that this is USA product - why use not English words which mean nothing.

Best Answer: The probiotics are dried and fermented to preserve longevity. Often, probiotics are added prior to the cooking process where the cultures are killed and no longer active. Taste of the wild now adds the probiotics after the cooking process to guarantee that for every pound of food, 100 million live, active cultures make it into your pet's system.

Manganese Proteinate: Manganese proteinate is a source of manganese, which is chelated with amino acids to improve the bioavailability. Manganese is a mineral that has a vital role in the proper function of cells within the body. It is necessary for the formation of bone and joint cartilage and neurological function.
