As I have small dogs, one a Chihuahua, what are the dimensions of the openings? I've ordered other treat dispensing toys, yet they've gotten their jaws and paws trapped in the holes. Very scary.

Best Answer: The opening is a 1 1/2" square. My dog is bigger than yours but she certainly couldn't get her jaws or paws even close to being trapped in the opening. I have a small border collie mix (34 lbs) . She loves thing!! The treats come out fairly easily but she still has to work for it (a little, she happens to be pretty smart so it does t take her long!). I had bought a cheaper kind originally that was more like a plastic ball and that was a waste of money. She would either throw it down the stairs or throw it into the wall to break it open and get all the treats out at once! LOL!! This thing is even hard for me to open.
