We have purchased 4 or 5 of these beds in the past. The dogs love them BUT our dogs are big and the centers are soon pressed down. THE BIGGEST problem however is the zipper. We have had trouble with the zippers going bad on every single bed we have purchased.

In Sept 2010 I purchased the largest size. I had purchased the same bed in 2009 and loved the quality. My dog also loved it. Unfortunately, the 2010 version is lighter and the foam is not as dense. The quality is no longer there, but the price hasn't been reduced accordingly. What a disappointment!

Overall, this bed is amazing. Our dog loves it. We had to buy the largest one because we have a 160lb English Mastiff. She doesn't dig so the cover has held up after two years. It is starting to sag (after 2 years), but she probably spends about 18 hours a day on it. I just bought her another one today because she loves it so much. We cover it up with a blanket and that seems to discourage her from ever even looking at the cover, let alone ripping holes in it like others have complained about. Overall, great bed though. I would recommend for all dogs.

This is the best orthopedic dog bed I have found - and I've done a ton of research! My 2 old aussie shepherds absolutely love their beds and I feel more at ease knowing their old bones are comfortable. I bought two for my house and now I'm buying 2 more to take to the kennel when I have to leave them. Also, the cover is very sturdy as one of my guys likes to scratch and make his "dog nest" -- no ripping or tearing at all. I'm very happy with this product!

This is a well-made bed, no complaints about that, but it is so firm that my dog has to have a soft squishy bed on top of it in order for her to sleep on it.

He is two years old and the beds before he would shred it. I was nervous about this bed but once on this bed - he loved it and hasn't torn it or shred it.

My 2 Siberian Huskies LOVE the bed. They take turns or sometimes both snuggle up together on the X-large bed (actually, I could have used the smaller one). The fact that it has a zip off cover is great. Only issue is that they love it so much that they dug 3 holes in the cover & I'm unable to find a reasonably priced replacement cover. If it wasn't for the cover issue, it w/b an overall 5 rating.

I bought this 47x35 bed for my 100 lb. Rottweiler just over a year ago. For the price of this product, I would have expected it to last much longer. It now sags so badly in middle that I find it necessary to replace. I've even tried to contact the manufacturer but they are not easy to track down.

We bought this bed (the large one) over two years ago for our 80 lb. lab. She loves it and spends almost all of her time on it. It even satisfied her so much that she MOSTLY gave up her bad habbit of using our couch while we were away. It is now just starting to sink down in the middle after over 2 years of constant use. We just ordered a new one. The cover is somewhat thin, so we just put an additional cover over it (a twin sheet sewed like a pillow case) so we could wash it without worrying about wearing out the fabric.

I have 2 11 yr old terriers. They love this bed. Unfortunately, one of my dogs loves to dig & tries to "fluff up" her bed. This bed didn't last long. She dug holes into both beds as the covers weren't very durable. Too bad.

This looks like a great bed, but the description does not tell you that the sides are made of a thin sateen fabric and the bottom is very thin nylon. I doubt this would hold up well to a 80 lb. labrador retriever. Because this item is drop-shipped, you must pay a 15% restocking fee (charged by the manufacturer) in addition to the return shipping charges. I would not have purchased this bed if the description had been adequate.

Got this bed the other day. I brought it home and my dog loves it. She goes outside then comes in and goes right to the bed. She has back problems and the deep cushion ortho is perfect for her.

My three dogs love the SSS Orthocare Beds that I bought them. When my sisters dog comes for a visit, all they can worry about is who while get to sleep on the beds. Since they are all German Sheperds, one can imagine the conversations that take place at bedtime. I highly recomend this bed for any K-9 but I especially recommend the SSS Orthocare Bed for your older K-9.

We have 4 labs/lab mixes and they all love this SSS bed. Charlie, our 7yr old lab/boxer mix, has terrible joints and even had TPLO surgery in October. I know that this bed significantly improves his quality of life because the second he walks inside he heads for the SSS bed and doesn't move til morning. We have about 5-6 other dog beds, and he choses this one! I am purchasing another to leave outside for him!

We have five dogs, four Irish Setters and a Border Collie. We have four dog beds in the house and two of them are the SSS Ortho Beds. Our dogs use them all the time and this is the one that seems to hold up the best.

An EXCELLENT product for aging dogs!I have a 14 yr old female dalmatian whose been on this REAL SIMMONS MATTRESS FOR A YEAR NOW. This shows no sign of wear and my baby has not limped once getting out of this bed. It has been a true aid to her joints!
