Spray Shield (formally known as Direct Stop) revolutionary citronella formula interrupts attacks by surprising and distracting animals with a powerful and unusual scent.  It is highly effective for dealing with low to medium level aggression, especially between dog-to-human and inter-dog confrontations.

Instructions: Shake can once per day prior to potential use. Spray DirectStop towards the animal’s nose.  

 

Manufacturer’s Warning: May not stop all animals. DirectStop is highly effective in stopping low to medium level aggression. However, a very small percentage of dogs are so strongly motivated that no known spray deterrent is effective. Physical restraint is the only way to stop an attack from these animals.

AMAZINGLY EFFECTIVE!!, 11/20/2006

I am a volunteer for a dog rescue. I was walking one of our rescues who recently had surgery on his neck. A dog got out of someone's front door and came charging for us. In a split second, my rescued dog and this loose dog were in a terrible fight. I unclipped my Direct Stop, directed it at them, and sprayed. In LESS than a second, the two dogs parted and moved away from each other. THIS STUFF IS AMAZING. If not for this spray, both dogs would have needed stitches, and our rescued dog would have had to go back to surgery. I am so grateful for this amazing product. I will NEVER walk another dog without having Direct Stop clipped to my belt.
