I will try to steam these for a few minutes to see if it softens and I'll store then again. Hope everything goes well. Buy this with caution. Take care. July 27, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Yummy! We have a problem with our three dogs not enjoying treats or having problems with the treats we buy (to big, to small, and so on). All three of the mutts (Chih, JRT, & GSD) all LOVE the treats. I open the bucket and everyone sat instantly. After I put them away they kept trying to get my attention for more. Wow, great price. They even look like jerky I would buy for me. The ingrediants are more natual than most and the container is great for easy storage. LOVE these and will keep buying! December 20, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Smokehouse Treats almost always great I've been buying these treats for my dogs for many months. They love them a LOT. I like the variety in the jar. Sometimes they include a treat though, something bacon-like wrapped around a long chewy thing with squares edges. They'll eat the bacon-like thing but totally skip the chewy long part. I don't know what those are made of, but they won't touch them. Otherwise, the treats are great. October 23, 2009

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sharp Ends and Pieces I was disappointed in the quality of the large tub I purchased because half of the contents were very small ends (from crumb size to 2" diameter)cut off of dried chicken treats. I have a large dog and he cant chew up such small sharp objects. He just swallows them whole. When I called the company suggested I donate them to someone with a smaller dog, but even a small dog would swallow these! The company does not take food returns so it was not a good purchase. April 15, 2009
