They work great for my dog. I've used them 3 times now and have never seen any fleas or ticks on my little girl. They are economical and last up to 8 months. Just remember to take the collar off when you bathe or groom them and they do last for the total 8 months.

Does the collar expire if you don't use it for many months but want to buy it when it is on sale?

I have two dogs and worry about them licking each others collars. Would they get sick from it? My question
has to do with the Seresto flea and tick collar.
A shopper on May 14, 2015
Best Answer: I love this collar! It works really well; there have been no ticks or fleas on my dog who normally gets at least 5 or 6 with each outing in the woods. I really don't think your dogs will get sick from licking the collar. I've accidently kissed my dog's flea/tick collar with no adverse effects (a few times)...The collar doesn't have any residue or smell, so unless your dogs are attracted to flea collars, I don't think a few licks will do any harm. I have 3 dogs and have not had any problems with poisoning. By the way, I used to use Frontline Plus, and have found this collar to be more effective, both in cost and use.
