Best Answer: We have 3 dogs; ages 7, 3 and 1 year. Our vet highly recommended Science Diet for all three dogs as the nutritional value and natural ingredients are much healthier for them. We used to feed them Eukanuba until we moved to ME and found a wonderful veterinary clinic. We hesitated due to the cost. I researched Science Diet at local dog food suppliers and was convinced after one local owner has attended over 25 educator courses in regards to Science Diet food. Once he explained how the by-products of other dog food detrimentally effects the health of our pets, I switched right then and there. Very informative man. Our 7 yr. old has a thyroid issue and once we changed to Science Diet, she was no longer sluggish, hers (and the other 2) coats feel healthy and incredibly soft. Our 3 yr. old had a dandruff, dry skin issue - his coat is so soft now, no dandruff showing and he's no longer itching like crazy. Our 1 yr. old was diagnosed with a chronic bladder issue upon adoption and we just recently upgraded her food to Science Diet/Hills Prescription C/D formula and even though it's very expensive, we were relieved to know that Science Diet carried specialty food for issues such as hers. You won't regret switching over. If your dog is a part of your family and you love them, you will make the change, knowing that they will benefit and be a healthier family member!
