Product Summary:
Royal Canin K-9 Health Nutrition Mini Puppy

Specially formulated wholesome and natural food with vitamins and minerals recommended for small breed puppies (up to 20 lbs. at adulthood) from two to ten months of age. Supports fast growth, digestive safety, and a strong immune system.

Fast Growth:The majority of the growth of small breed dogs occurs in the first six months of life. On average, they will gain 20 grams per day and after ten months has multiplied the birth weight by 20 times. Food intake must therefore supply all the energy needs for this fast development.

Digestive Safety: The digestive capabilities of a small breed puppy develop only slowly with age. Up to the age of three months, the digestion of the small breed puppy is still delicate. A highly digestible food of this kind, rich in proteins, can help prevent the appearance of disorders such as diarrhea.

Immunity Support: Puppies like to wander and chew everything they find. In doing so, they put their recently acquired immune system at risk. This fomula of food complements the fragile immune system of small breed puppies.

licks the bowl clean, 8/12/2009

Juli from valley stream,NY

My Min Pin loves this food. She licks the bowl clean and begs for more. She likes it more than Wellness dog food, which is suppose to be #1. When she was on Wellness she took forever to eat it. Now she hardly comes up for air. As far as I am concerned this food is better.

my min pin loves this food, 8/7/2009

Juli from valley stream, ny

Breeder gave me science diet heard negative reviews so I tried Wellness and my min pin would take forever to eat it. Sometimes not eating it at all. I asked around and my friend told me she feeds her maltese ROYAL CANIN. So i took a chance and bought it and she loves it. Licks the bowl clean! She is only 2 pounds and 14 ounces maybe she will make it to 4 or 5 pounds by the next vet visit(2 weeks)I am so happy she likes this food but upset that I wasted money on the so called best food wellness.

Puppy Love, 5/2/2009

John from Nebraska

This is the only dry food that my puppy seems to enjoy. He is a four month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and has been eating this since he was weaned. Even though this food is very expensive, I gave it five stars for price, because this is the best price I could find for this product anywhere.

Fantastic!, 4/20/2009

Amanda from Norfolk, VA

I have an 8 Week old Min Pin and he loves this stuff! As soon as I open the bag Jack comes running (more of a stumbling) across the room to get to the food and he just gobbles it up! He has seemed healthier and happier since I put him on this diet and I couldn't be happier!

The best out there, 2/3/2009

Gabriel from Ga

I had my new puppy on solid gold when I brought him home at 10 weeks, but he had diarrhea for over a month. My vet recommended I try royal canin puppy formula. After weaning him to royal canin, his digestive problems immediately went away. The bags are a bit expensive, but totally worth every penny to know my puppy is getting the very best nutrition he needs. I love this food and so does my Finn!

The BEST Food!!!, 12/30/2008

Erin from Follansbee, WV

My puppy was eating a cheap food (from the breeder) and was not thriving. I asked the vet what I should feed him, and she said Royal Canin. I found this exact food and he couldn't be happier. No more hand feeding or wetting his food, he simply eats and loves it. I even tried a more expensive holistic food and all he wanted was his RC. Even our cat wanted to eat it, and usually it's the other way around.

hands down from doggie, 9/6/2008

satb from gordonsville va

Even though the breeder recommended it, my pup won't eat this food without some added flavor to it (Nutrical or crushed up liver treats). I think this pup is use to another food with bigger bites. I believe the food is a good food but my dog will not eat it.

Great for Pomeranians, 4/25/2008

Dana from Plant City, FL

I was turned onto this food by a breeder friend. It has been the best food I've given to my dogs. I even give it to my pregnant bitches. The 33/20 mixture is very much the same as found in the Espilac. I'm in love with this product and recommend it to all my potential buyers! Thanks

Breeder, 12/15/2007

Petals from San Diego

Yorkies tend to be very picky eaters. Raw and homeprepared diets are best for them. Royal Canin is the only kibbledry that any of our dog will eat. I send home a bag with every placed dog, This is yummy food for your babies . We feed the mini formula and move on to the Yorkie. Yes, you should try this.

BUY Nothing Else, 3/19/2007

Sheila Spaeth from FindaShihTzu.com, IL

This dog food is wonderful. It is a bit pricy, but worth every penny. Your puppy will eat less of this than other brands, he will have a beautiful coat and you will not notice him wasting any of it. I breed shih tzu puppies and my adults are top notch healthy and coats are glorious because of this foodbest of all, the food is easily digested and nutrionally denseyour dogs will poop less too.
