Rimadyl is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for treatment of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis in dogs, and control of postoperative pain associated with soft-tissue and orthopedic surgeries in dogs. Rimadyl works by reducing hormones that cause pain and inflammation in your dog's body. Rimadyl chewables come in a flavored tablet and readily accepted and consumed on first offering by a majority of dogs.
Rimadyl is used in dogs for the relief of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, as well as the control of post-operative pain associated with soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries.
