Ive tried three of these cheap extendo leashes, and not a one lasted more than a few days with my 10 pound minidoxies. Save troubel. Go for a good one.

i bought three of these retractable leads, 2 60 pounders, and 1 100 pounder...my heaviest dog is 57lbs, but i thought i may use a coupler with a couple of the smaller dogs. I never got that far. Within 5 walks, one of the 60lb leads stopped retracting. I tinkered with it a bit, but it is broken. I started using the 100lb lead. After about 20 walks, the metal clasp that attaches to the leash popped off, sending my dog free into the street! I had no choice but to tie the lead around his collar and hope it held until we returned home. It did, but it was another busted lead. I now am left with one 60lb lead, and a fear it will break and send my pet wandering into traffic. Dog.com return policy says items must be returned in the condition recieved...??!!??? I say products should be built to maintain that condition. Needless to say, i am on the market for a more dependable lead.
