My white miniature shnauzer loved these bones but they would tint her fur and turn her front paws and beard a light redish pink. I then wondered what it would do to my floor and took them away. wonderful treat if they are kept somewhere that cant be stained and not with a white dog!!!

Food Allergies-Good alternative to Beef

My dog has multiple food allergies. While I dont fully know what they all are, as I simply switched her to a food without beef, chicken, wheat, soy, or corn. I am certain she is allergic to beef, as beef treats cause her to itch, bite her paws, and munch her butt. As a big dog with vigorous chewing habits, I was dismayed at losing those tough compressed beef rawhides. She goes through regular rawhide so quickly, its awful to think of it all landing in her gut at once. Dog.com is one of the few places that have compressed pork rawhide, and at fairly good prices! They do seem a bit softer than beef, but they still outlast anything else Ive found.

Compared to the natural compressed bone, I found that not only does this one peak my puppies interest, she carries it everywhere! Only issue is that it seams to break down a little faster than the natural one, but if my puppy continues her infatuation, I will continue to make her happy!!
