Horribly disappointed, 12/20/2009

I read all the reviews on this bed and decided it would be great for my two dogs. One is a 60 lb English bulldog and the other a 28 lb French bulldog. The bed I ordered said it was up to 100 lbs. WRONG. Today is Sunday. I put the bed together on Friday and it IS ALREADY TORN. Both my dogs together weigh 88 pounds and the bed fabric is already torn! I cannot believe this. Money gone down the drain.

Good for outdoors, 10/7/2009

This bed was a lot harder to put together than I thought it would be. It really stressed me out! However, once it was assembled, it was good. In the Las Vegas heat, I don't want my dog laying down on our concrete yard so this bed is a great alternative!

We have had our pet beds for several years now and they are great for camping. They keep the dogs clean and they don't have to lay in the dirt and pitch. They like them.

I have five medium-large active dogs and we love these beds. So easy to clean and vacuum - much better than cloth beds!! Glad the replacement covers are available because I will be using these for years and the frames are very strong.

I have had no trouble getting replacement covers, The manufacturer has been providing them since 1979! Also, my only down fall is that not all the sizes are available from any one supply house.

I LOVE THIS TYPE BED AND SO DO MY DOGS,,IT'S VERY LIGHT WEIGHT EASY TO MOVE TO CLEAN UNDER THE ONLY PROBLEM I SEE HERE IS THE PRICE I PAID 29.99 FOR MY EXTRA LARGE BED,IT WASN'T MADE WITH PVC ,,I WISH IT WERE,,,BUT IT IS MADE WITH METAL,,THE DOGS LIKE IT BETTER THAN OUR COUCH WHICH IS GREAT.

i had one of these with english bulldogs and they loved them. odly enough they never ripped it plus we have cats with claws and it was never ripped. so personally we never we never had a problem them. maybe the other dogs were diggers or something.

I agree with the other review. Replacement covers are a must. I raise Aussies and have three that are ripped and could use a replacement cover. The dogs love them and they are great for our warm client to give them a softer place to lie down without the heat of a blanket but I also won't order another without having replacement covers offered.

Non Replaceable Cover, 6/18/2008

I have bought 3 of these beds. The fact that they are off the floor is a plus. My dogs really loved them. The main problem is that when the cover gets ripped you cannot replace them. You are stuck with just the frame. We have tried to find a replace ment and have had no luck. We even tried the manufacturer and still no luck. These are great beds but I will not purchase another until they make the replacement covers.

The best around! Well made...easy to put together...easy to clean and priced so you can afford them. Our Dogs LOVE THEM! They allow the dogs, when outside or inside to rest in comfort off the ground or floor. We have them outside, under shade trees in our yard and the dogs race to see who gets to the line up of beds first! I also love the fact that when you need to replace the fabric, you dont have to purchase the entire bed ..just the replacement cover ... very convenient and economical. My only request is that all sizes come in a larger variety of colors....its a girl thing! Buy one for each of your dogs - you wont regret it!

Works ok for smaller dogs, but the LG one doesnt hold our 75lb dog off the ground. Seems like the material stretched too easily.
