I found my first Vari-Kennel at a swapmeet in the early "80's.
I still have it even though it's been though many animals and even a car wreck.
My 18 year old cat was in a Vari-Kennel in that accident (the car rolled 3 times!)and though there were some minor scratches on the kennel, my cat emerged without a single bruise.
The car wasn't so lucky. Too bad they don't make vehicles this tough.
I would recomend this product to anyone who has to transport animals.

I have used Vari kennels for over 25 years. They are durable, last a long time and are very handy. A top quality product and reasonably priced. Ive seen thinner less quality knock offs higher priced. I had one dog that was a chewer and the cage held up well even with the abuse he gave it. DEFINATLY A TOP NOTCH PRODUCT!

These crates are strong and well built, but the navy color is so dark inside that my dogs don't care for it. There are no grills at the back of the crate so it makes it appear even more closed in and dark. A light color would be so much better, even for keeping it clean.
