I bought this jacket in XL for my lab in the pink. I thought it would be a little too bright but it's nice, it looks the same as it does on screen. It is lined in black, but the lining is a bit thin & you have to be delicate with it. I don't use the leash opening in the coat because it kind of small and only fits a half inch leash size. ALso, the hole will easily rip if the dog moves too much. The velcro is very sticky but it sometimes comes open so I suggest getting a size up if you're not sure. We live where it gets cold but it's nice because it covers up the tummy and keeps her very warm. The fur on the hood is not as thick as it appears, and the hood is big but she likes it because it keeps her head warm. However you do have to keep an eye on it because it tends to fall in their eyes when they walk.

I just received this jacket in the black size small for my male Maltese. He is six pounds. The jacket is strange as the leg holes are huge and although you can tighten the back end the hood just falls over his entire face so I have to fold it back and then he tries to escape out of it. The Velcro straps which run horizontal, the length of the dog, should have run in the other direction with thicker Velcro straps.
