i have a great dane who is a super aggressive chewer. she can go through one of those 3ft long rawhides in a day. this is the best toy i have ever bought her. we tried the nylabone double-action chew bone, but were disappointed to discover that it isnt solid, so once she chewed through the end, she kept cutting her gums on the sharp hollow edge. had to throw it out with 2/3 of the bone left. however, the galileo is solid all the way through - we have had the souper sized one for 2 years, and it has finally gotten small enough that she has a hard time holding onto it while she chews. dog.com sells them for almost half the price of a pet store and it is the best money i've spent on a dog item ever. just watch your feet when your dog drops it, or else you'll end up with a serious toe-ache.

I have two dogs one large and one small and this is both their favorite chew. It lasts forever despite daily agressive chewing. I would recommend this for any dog large or small to really get their teeth into.

I have german shepherds, very aggressive chewers. I went thru many nylabones that were chewed to smitherenes before I discovered the Galileo bone. I have 5 of them that have stood the test of time in YEARS, not DAYS or HOURS! I would tell anyone who has power chewing dogs to get these.

I've got two Pit Bulls who love to chew and the Galileo Bone can take some serious abuse!
They last a long time (I've had mine for over a year now - but my dogs don't chew daily) and there aren't any large pieces that break off, so I don't have to worry about my dogs choking or having to be rushed to the emergency vet because of a blockage like I would if I gave them Greenies (look it up - they've killed several dogs) or rawhide.
The Galileo Bone will definitely be standard fare around our house from here on out!
