I have been trying to find chew bones that my dogs would like. They actually like these, they are not vigorous chewers, so these bones are ok for them, but I wouldn't give to moderate or hard chewer dogs. The pkging says it's only good for light to moderate chewers.

I have a 4 year old mix dog who had blocked and required surgery 2 times from eatting the dental chew bones. Be careful if they eat the peices.

All the dogs I've ever owned have loved Nylabones! My 1 yr.old Maltese, Toby, is a chewer. He loves the Nylabones & it helps clean his teeth. It keeps Toby from chewing on things he isn't supposed to chew on. The Nylabone Company is one you can trust. The pieces that the dog chews off can be eaten without hurting them. It comes out in their stools.

I got regular-size bones for my 14-pound mini-poodle whom I would rate as an average chewer. I thought this was supposed to be for teeth-cleaning, i.e., the dog gnaws for a while and the rubber stick-out bits massage gums and teeth etc. (That's what the ad says, anyway.) Instead, my dog just chews chunks off the ends. She seems to like it but I don't think her teeth or gums are getting much cleaning benefit.

Chad the Pitbull loves these giant size bones. He chews them to shreads and loves evey minute of it. He spits out the small chunks and continues down to the nub. The way knaws at it, I know that it feels good on his teeth and gums.

Perhaps I should have bought the Giant for my Weimaraner and my Lab. They had the ends chewed off of the wolf in no time. I liked the idea of coating it in doggie toothpaste and letting them "brush" their own teeth, but I think they just licked the toothpaste off and proceeded to chew the ends off the bones!

I bought 2 of the giant size for my Vizsla and Rottweiler. The Vizsla was able to break off large pieces in a matter of seconds, my Rotty it took him 15 minutes. I've bought Nylabone products in the past and have been always happy. But was very disappointed in this one.

I tried giving this bone to my lab mix on two different occassions. He loved the bone and chewed so much that he consumed much of it. About 4 hours later he threw up repeatedly--and yes, it was the bone bits that kept coming up. I bought the Wolf-Size bone, but if you have a strong chewer, do NOT waste your money on this bone. As I said, I tried to let him have the bone a few weeks later and had the same result in the middle of the night--with me getting up and cleaning the mess.

These work well for my Catahoula, who is an agressive chewer, but apparently sensitively gummed. This dental chew is a bit tougher than the Gummabone which is really chewable but is also worn down more quickly but is still soft enough that she doesnt seem to damage her gums during vigorous chewing.

I started buying the denta bone when I adopted 2 older pugs from Pug Lovers Rescue.I wanted to keep there teeth and gums in good condition. They love these bones and prefer them to all others I have purchased. Their dental condition has improved and been maintained while chewing these bones.

I am a breeder and use this ribbed nylabone for my puppies. They enjoy teething on these. The small ribs help stimulate their gums. I have small breed dogs and they have never chewed these up. I highly reccommend these nylabones for puppies teething or just chewers.

Want your Vet dental bills to disappear Glop dental toothpaste chicken is my kennels favorite all in the nubs of this bone and give each dog one at night. They brush their own teeth! Results are no more costly teeth cleanings under anesthetic. My Vet is amazed at how well these bones with toothpaste work!

My Westie pup loves this bone to pieces, literally. Its taken her about two-three months to destroy this bone and theres still chunks lying around she amuses herself with.
This is a *soft* to medium bone, meaning if your dog is a big chewer, this is NOT the bone for your dog. This is best for dogs that dont chew through everything and anything.

These are definitely not for any dog that is even a medium to mildly strong chewer! I bought two in the largest size for my 30 lb. Brittany Spaniel. She destroyed this bone and I had to toss it out 3 minutes after I gave it to her because she was breaking off and trying to swallow dangerously-sized pieces.
I would not recommend this product to any smart pet owner!!

These chews are not for the aggressive chewers... I bought two of these for my dogs and they broke them apart in seconds.. Great for the casual chewer... potentially dangerous for the aggressive chewer...

I have been buying these for my puppy starter kits for over 5 years. The new owners always tell me that this is their new puppy's favorite toy/bone!! My dogs love them as well. I definitely recommend them to all dog owners who have dogs that like to chew.
