Great mixed use product!, 1/14/2012

My pooch is most certainly a power chewer. He's gone through walls, furniture and other things. However, he also loves soft things like towels and socks. This product does both. It is soothing and soft and he loves to just carry it around (or snuggle up with it) in calm times. In hyper mode, he will chew and try to tear the thing apart. It stands up to some serious abuse and doesn't loose it's soothing quality (and I don't have to worry about stuffing everywhere - including in his belly!) My first toy lasted for about 4 months before I decided to get another one, since the squeaker died a while ago and he was finally starting to work one of the arms off. The new toy didn't hold up nearly as well. It lasted a day before it broke at the seam around the face. But, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this toy and hope my most recent disappointment is only a fluke. It's the only soft toy I've found that has (at least in the past) held up to my pooch's chewing frenzies.

Sturdy!, 2/8/2011

My two big dogs have not destroyed this yet! They have chewed the arms and antenna but the body remains intact - and the squeaker still works! I'm impressed!
