Expensive for little payoff, 6/15/2011

blancpage from Arizona

I have a three-year old Vizsla and have been feeding him this for at least six months now. I don't see a major change. His coat has always been beautiful and shiny and healthy and I get compliments on him all the time, but I don't know if it's the salmon oil or not. It is expensive and I have yet to see a big enough difference. I plan on stopping the salmon oiil after my current bottle is out. I don't know if he'll appreciate that, because he loves the stuff, but he's not the one paying for it, lol!

Has Been a BIG Help, 7/22/2010

Colleen from

I have a Laboradoddle who has from the time he was a puppy had a very hard time developing a good coat. I started using Salmon oil 2 pumps on his food morning & night when he was about 18 mos. old between that and the safflower oil he gets it has made a big difference. He now has fur on his belly where before there was none. I know it is a bit expensive but it is worth it to see him with fur.

I read the other review---my dog (black Lab) just the opposit. She loves it. I put one pump in her food--twice a day. People remark on her beautiful, shinny coat.

Waste of time & money, 5/1/2010

Tasha from

I have three dogs, who usually eat everything. ALL of THEM hated it and would hardly touch the food with Oil on it. Some vomiting, and runny stool at the beginning. Ok, I started tricking them - put it on something else, etc. Anyway, it's been almost 4 months and I see no improvement whatsoever (my dog lost her coat after whelping). Not even a shine. The coats are not improving (dog's are on Innova, so don't think I feed them some Wal-Mart stuff). I am totally disappointed. The price - for a small bottle I paid $19 + tax - crazy!
