Adult Dogs

Puppies

Feed up to 2 times per pound of body weight over adult levels.

Pregnant Females

Minimal increase needed during first 6 weeks. Weeks 7, 8, & 9 increase up to 25%.

Lactating Females

Immediately after whelping, the nutritional demand increases by 50% compared to maintenance levels. Feed in 3 equal meals per day.

Feeding Management

We recommend that you do not add vitamins, minerals or any other supplements, except upon the advice of a veterinarian. When switching your dog's diet, the change should be made gradually, by replacing the current Sweet Potato & Fish Small Breed Bites formula. The change should be completed after 5 to 7 days. The maintenance of proper body weight is most important for your dog's health. Consult your veterinarian for specific weight recommendations for your dog. Remember, fresh clean water should be available at all times!
