This type of collar is the very best walking collar there is. It's the only one we will use in our kennel. When dogs strain, the rounded material flattens and does not choke. We use these to walk dogs in our Kennel. They are great. The rope is NOT too big to fit through the rings, you just need to push it through once (like a chain choke collar). We use 2 and spiral them so they don't "release" and the dogs cannot back out of them. Does not choke ever, even if they try to back out of them. We love them.

I ordered both an 18" and a 22" collar for my growing puppy's 14" neck. The rings on both collars were too small for the thick tubular "chain" to fit through, rendering the collars useless. Now I'm stuck with two collars that I can't use, and there's no sense in ordering a larger one, because the rings will be proportionatly too small for the larger cord. I cannot return the collars, because the return expense is probably equal to the cost of the collars.

These are great collars, glad your company is still selling them. I've used them on my GSD's for years, they never damage the coat, there tough and easy to wash, just use dish soap and water and hang to dry, very strong too they will never break!
