A matching black plastic,urine-resistant pan is sold separately. The durable pan is great for easy clean up.

We have a 142.9 lb Great Dane who loves her crate, we have it on carpet with the tray ( to keep the tray from cracking under her weight) She has an orthopedic bed inside and although we seldom lock the door, she goes in of her own accord and carries toys with her to entertain herself while we are at work.. Maddie goes to work too, in her crate. Wonderful to have one huge enough to keep her happy.

I got this crate today and put it together with absolutely no problem and with no help. I expected a flimsy crate from reading other reviews from previous buyers, however was very pleasantly surprised to see a strong, well made product with a nice heavy gauge wire. The toughest part of the assembly was keeping my great dane out of it while I was putting it together - he loves his new den!

The crates are great and even a very unhappy lab only did minimal damage. The biggest problem Ive had with the two crates in my kennel is the trays, which were damaged in shipping. I realized after assembly that I was missing the latches to hold the trays in, and Ive had two dogs slide the trays out. However, Im buying more. Dogs of all sizes appreciate the space. Assembly was a breeze.
