I have had these clippers for years, I honestly don't know how long I've had them but it's been over 5 years, and I have had NO trouble WHATSOEVER with crushed/splitting/cracking nails and I've used them on 6 different ferrets! I clip my ferrets nails every week or every other week as needed and these clippers have lasted though all of those clippings for 6 different ferrets. They still work fine with no problems, My ferrets nails are still easy to clip with no problems! Didn't seem to get dull with time at all! (And believe me I check!) They are a great long-lasting product and I love them!

This clippers seems like it gets the job done i haven't noticed any splitting if the nail. Lucifer hates his nails cut with these clippers seems like the job gets done faster. Before these clippers I had a finger nail clippers that i was using to cut his nails

I bought these clippers thinking they would be quality and sharp but yes they DO CRUSH my little Rampage's nails leaving splitting ends. Don't waste your $.

These clippers work wonders on my ferret Bella! They are sharp so they cut the nails well and they are easy and comfortable to hold. She doesn't really seem to mind when I clip her nails anymore.

These clippers do seem to crush and split the end of both my ferrets nails which increases the risk of them snagging their nails and getting hurt.

These clippers do not deserve even one star. They crush nails instead of cutting them, and they split one of my poor ferrets nails. We are now using another brand without any problems, so I know these clippers were to blame.
