My Frenchie has loved this seat, she sits in it twice a day everyday and is sound asleep and snoring with in minutes. I do feel much safer with her in it, BUT-- It tips over in my car when I go around a corner if you have it in the center seat. If you put it on either of the side seats where there is a divot, it doesn't tip over. I would like to have it in the center so that she is a little more protected from potential side impact. I am not sure if these have been tested in collisions, but I know that it does give me more assurance that she won't fly forward with a crash..

My dogs love this car seat. They are tall enough to see out the windows and they are seatbelted in. They will even nap in them when I take them into the house.

I absolutely love this booster seat!! We got it because our mini schnauzer Hallie was always trying to look out the car window, but when she was on her hindlegs, she didn't know how to brace herself when we came to a stop, and would fall off the seat. The booster allows her to look out the window while sitting down. If you are really into safety (as we are!), you can still attach your dog to the seatbelt with a doogie harness because the belt goes around the back of the booster.
The major downside is that the quality of the product is really bad, especially when you factor in the price. The seat consists of a bunch of styrafoam pieces glued together, and then covered with a nice seat cover. I wouldn't doubt that a really crafty person would be able to make one. So, if you are budget shopper, you may wat to personally look at one before you purchase it offline.
The reason why I gave it such a high overall rating is because it made traveling with Hallie SO much easier. She used to whine incessantly when she couldn't look out the window, and now she is very well behaved. That makes the booster chair worth it for me!!

My 2 dachsunds LOVE their car seats. Before I got them it was a mess trying to get them to stay in the back seat or not to get in my lap. But now, they have their seats and they are very happy. Also, I bring the seats into the house and they both love to sleep in them at night. Best of both worlds !! Great product and worth the price.

I have 2 lookout car seats. My boston terriers know they have to be in their seat wsafety harness on, before the van will move. They are the best thing ever. My pets are safe when we travel, they can see out the windows and they do not miss a thing.
If we travel out of town the carseats can be used as their beds. With them fastened in and in the back seats,never the front, I know they are safe and protected. All dogs should be safe in your car not matter how far you are driving around town or out of state, the care seats work really great.
