I've had my leash (3/8 in) for a little over a year. It has held up very well, even after frequent walks in rain. I didn't have the same issues as the other reviewer..no shoddy work on mine. I just placed an order for 2 larger sizes.

Substandard craftsmanship. Uneven, shoddy stitching. Pieces of leather were rivited unevenly and unaligned. Unfinished edges, raw and ragged. Spend your money on something high-quality that will actually last.

This is a great leash and I have been recommending it to our friends. The leather is soft, not stiff like the leather leashes in pet stores, but it is very strong. It doesn't rub on your hands like a nylon leash does. It is slightly stretchy so it's easier on your arms when you are working with a dog who pulls. The most comfortable lesh we have every used and it is wearing very well. A good price too!
