My aggressive chewers like this toy, but it doesn't have the durability I expected from the Kong line of products. My darlings chewed the ends of this toy in no time!

I have an older dog that is a 10 pound Chihuahua mix. Chico has had his 3 inch Jump N Jax for almost a year & I can say without question this is his favorite toy. From what I have read it seems larger dogs tear this toy up quickly but I think I may need to get a couple more. He loves to play fetch with it & when he is tired of that he will bring it back, plop down & start chewing on it. Yhe toy also makes a great pacifier when a soft spread of some sort is used. Chico has several toys but this is the one he plays with every day.

No, this is definitely not as long-lasting as the regular kongs, but my dogs have way more fun with it, chasing each other for it, if they can only find one.
(and I pretty much never stick treats in my dogs toys, because they're on a super-healthy raw food diet, so we're talking pure toy-lust here).
The reason it doesn't last as long isn't because the material is any less durable. It's because the dog can obviously fit parts of it entirely into the mouth.
But that's also the reason why it works better for teeth-cleaning / dental massage.
Obviously, it's prohibitively expensive if your dog gums through one of these every 30 minutes, but for most dogs, they'll hang around a few months.
That's long enough for me, since y pups tend to be quite indifferent to toys that are really and truly impervious to their efforts, which only makes sense; man or beast, we all like to feel we're accomplishing something.

Our 14 pound pound puppy demolished this in less than 15 minutes--he loves the kong paste and was determined to get every bit out of this toy. Before I put the paste in, I paid it no attention.

My 85 pound black lab loves this toy and it has held together, even after months of use. It's unpredictable bounce makes it a great fetch toy.

Not meant for aggressive chewers. My yr old lab had it chewed in pieces within the first 15 minutes he got it.

my pit bull loved this toy so much she had 3 of the ends chewed off in a matter of hours--thankfully it did not end up in her belly!

My pit bull loved this toy, but we wound up taking it out of her stomach through a gastrotomy within a week or so. Be warned...

I have a one year old lab and she chewed this up in a week. To be fair, she is a tough chewer and hard on toys but I thought this would last longer. She loved it while she had it.

My dogs both love this toy. They play tug of war. We also throw for them to fetch and it bounces so erratic that they move like rabbits trying to catch it. Weve had this toy about a year and it is still like new. Highly reccomend this one for anybody who has a tough chewer. It can take it!

Kong has continually impressed me with their quailty in products. The Jump n Jax has been great we have three boxers and they have had a great time tossing it around and haven't been able to make a scratch in it(we have had it for over a year).
