I have a power chewer so I understand that there are few toys that will last more than 5 mins. Unfortunately, this toy isnt one of them. Made well and my dog enjoyed it while it lasted(5mins lol)

My one year old black lab mix usually tears apart any toy within 10 minutes... even some nylabone and kong toys. This one, he loves... he hasn't been pulling on the rope, just gnawing on it - which I'm thankful for. Hopefully this toy will last longer than the others.

Love this Kong, 12/6/2008

We had a lab/greyhound mix who has had a "regular" kong since she was a puppy (started with the puppy version and are now using the big red ones). We noticed after about 4 years she was not as interested in the original kong, so we tried this barbel shaped one. We fill it up with treats and give it to her when we leave. She LOVES it and now can't wait for us to leave! She's a very aggressive chewer and Kong really holds up to that! Like I said, we "replaced" the first one after a few years - and that was due to boredom, not to toy falling a part. LOVE LOVE LOVE KONG!!!! The wubba is amazing, too - but will not stand up to aggressive chewers if yours chews toys!

I have 4 dogs, corgi, shepard, lab and pit. All of them love it and it is still in perfect condition!! I wish kong would make KONG TIRE!! Thank you!!

My only reason for not giving this toy 5 stars is that the center part is showing some wear, but it is overall a pretty sturdy toy. It doesn't hold kibble because the holes are so big, but it is great for filling with canned food. A very good kong product and my dogs love it!
