Rated 5 out of 5 by Pet Play Pen This is a great, easy to assemble product. Well built and easy to use. Perfect for puppies, especially when used with the same size pet pad to prevent damage to floors. October 24, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Iris plastic pen exerciser I absolutely love this item and so does my dog. Take it any where you go. So light weight and easy. August 14, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Just what we needed One of our formerly very active Dachshunds' activity needs to be severly restricted for an extended time due to disc disease and partial paralysis. This pen has proven to be exactly what we need to restrict his movement, but still give him more freedom than he had in his smaller crate. He is much happier because he can see out and move around and play a bit, but we can better control his activity level and keep him safe. His dachsie brother is also happier, because he can join him for cuddle time under the covers :). I really like that the pen doesn't mar or scratch my floors. The pen is very easy to set up and to move around. Quality is quite good; much better than others I have seen. If you have an active dog or puppy, you would probably need to brace the pen so it couldn't be pushed around the room. June 20, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by great pens... perfect for puppies and they door is the best.. November 28, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great pen! I own a 1 year old 6 pound Yorkie and she has had this since I brought her home as a pup and loves it. Contrary to what people see in the picture, it doesn't have a bottom (that is a piddle pad). Thankfully she hasn't learned how to climb it or jump it so it is still working today. There is enough room to put a bed, food and water and piddle pads. I just got another 1 year old Yorkie who is 4 pounds and until the 2 are fully comfortable with each other I'm ordering a 2nd one which can then be used to expand it to be really big for the 2 to share. Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE these pens! I LOVE these pens and have bought 20 over 3 years time. I have adapted them as sliding gates across my doorways, made swinging gates for the hallway. Made tops for some, made 2 panels into a 6 foot sliding barrier. I have used shower stall mylite to panel the inside 1/2 way up for my stud dog so he can't mark outside of the pen. They can be adapted in so many ways. Love them! May 2, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great play area for small dogs I have both the big and the small iris exercise pen and I just love both of them. I use the large one for my yorkiepoo inside with his crate, food dishes, toys and pee pad in it and the small one for both of my yorkiepoos when we go out on the front porch. I don't find it a problem that it has no bottom. I just take an old comforter and put it down first and then put the pen on that with a pee pad on it and then they have a soft place to play and sleep and also the pee pad is there if they need it. I bought this item when it was on sale for $42.00 and would consider getting another one if the price drops to that amount again. April 17, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very NICE We have a Yorkie and wanted to give him a area to sleep in. Perfect until he learned how to jump up and pull up on the sides to get out. Thought their was a bottom, so I made one. Wanted it to be as nice as the pen, try a flat large box and brought a nice stick on tile and it looks wonderful. February 19, 2010

Great price compare to other sites. This is my second one the first one I purchased for my daughters pet. Made out of very good material; very sturdy.

Is there an easy way for me to get into and out of the pen, such as a door panel? I see the small door for the dog, but I want to be able to get in and out easily.

Is there a bottom to this cage?
A shopper on Oct 9, 2014
Best Answer: No, but they do have netting that can go over the top. I use the green felt cover with the waterproof backing(from Revival pet supply) as the flooring and then put down washable pee pads from Petco. It is easy to care for and my floors stay clean. The pee pads are easy to wash and are way cheaper than paper pee pads over time and they are not filling up the landfills.

Can two units be joined to make a larger pen?
CHARLES T on Mar 17, 2015
Best Answer: I never tried to put two pens together, but each of the 4 panels can be disconnected from each other as they're held together by a long plastic pin. The construction of the adjoining sides fit together like tabs and spaces. I actually disconnect one of the seams to create a fence and stand it at the bottom of our stairs and have found this pen very versatile.

Can a 2 pound dog slip through the slats?
A shopper on Sep 7, 2015
Best Answer: No! I have a 3.9lb dog and she's fine in there. The only thing is there isn't a top and my chiuauah leered how to climb and jump out so you might want to get the mesh top that goes with it. I love the cage though, it's perfect for my two small pups.

Can the panels be used as a room divider rather than a pen?
Amy W on Jul 17, 2014
Best Answer: The pen can be opened up and used as one long gate; however, you will need to brace it in some way as it won't be able to stand firmly on it's own.

I'm wondering how big the opening is between the slats? Could a guinea pig slip through?
A shopper on Sep 18, 2015
Best Answer: No, a Guinea pig can not slip thru. I love these pens. About 5 yrs ago I was breeding Austalian Shepherds and used several of these inside the home then outside for puppies. Very versatile. I can step over or pop the connecter out and open that way. Right now I'm using the new ones I just bought for inside with a Mini lop rabbit. (I detest cages). She has climbed over a few times but Guinea Pigs are not climbers or jumpers. I had GP's too. The older pens have been used for everything from tree barricades to chicken pens. I love them....No worries about rust unless the connector poles are left out in the weather.
