Wish I had read the other reviews before I bought this piece of garbage. Flimsy and likes to unscrew as you use it. You will need to stop and check the assembly constantly.
Also, the jaws sometimes close all the way and sometimes don't. The tension on the jaw is inconsistent.
PLEASE - take a pass on this. I wish I would have....

I cant believe I wasted money on this product. I only didnt demand a refund because I was afraid Id have to ship a dirty scooper back to them. It doesnt have any strength in the jaws, and is very wobbly and weak feeling. You can spend all day trying to pick up one pile of poop with this. I now have one that is very strong, spring loaded, and works like a dream.

This scoop is flimsy! It can come unscrewed while youre scooping, actually *increasing* the work you have to do. The grabbing mechanism is weak, and cannot stand up to grassy terrain. Basically awful!

I was concerned at first,I didnt think this thing was gonna work.......Well it works, and I use it all the time now. Of course my yard thanks me for it!
