Not only is it not sturdy and extremely wobbly. But as I was putting it together one of the cheap plastic bolts broke and not the top perch is litterly just perched on the pole and not attached. My cat doesnt use it too much except to sit on the middle perch and even thats rare. However my Mastiff likes to chew the poles.

A piece of furniture this size would cost double this in the stores! We run a cat rescue and bought 2 of these. All of our cats love it! I was worried about the connector system and I was pleasnantly surprised! It was so much easier to put together than others weve tried and it is very sturdy. The base is a little wobbly, but a piece of cardboard under the front of the base helped tremendously!

I purchased this item for my 3 cats. I have placed it in a corner next to the stairs. All 3 cats have chosen to play on it. I agree with the first reviewer, it is a bit unstable. But this is easy to fix. The reason it is a bit tipsy is because the base is not wide enough for the height. One could simply attach a wider sheet of plywood to the base. Its a very simple fix.
Aside from 2 of my cats being too large for the little house, I am very pleased with this product.

My cat passed away two months after I bought this tree for her, so it didnt get very much use from her, but in the time that she was using it, she loved it. For the reviewer who called it wobbly, I suggest you place the base of it against your floorboards. I did this, and it moved around much less. My baby loved the large perch near the top from which she could dangle her tail and taunt the dog. For anyone who has a cat who loves to bound into a room and climb to the highest location, I highly reccomend this tree. It is designed to be climbed quickly, and is ideal for a multispecies home.

Might be best for light weight, lazy cats. My cat doesn't feel to secure on it. I haven't been able to tighten it up enough to keep it from wobbling. My daughter has a young, very active kitten so I couldn't really recommend to to her. Sorry.
