Excellent softness, space for some opening of mouth to breathe with biting. Difficulty with clasp staying shut. Good sizing for pom.

On a rare occasion, the shelter dogs are very nervous and get a little nippy. I plan to carry this muzzle.

have a cocker spaniel who is always sniffing and picking up things from the ground. how long should a muzzle be kepted on?
A shopper on Feb 18, 2015
Best Answer: Since this is being used as a correction device I generally leave it on for about 3-5 minutes. If they repeat the undesired behavior we will put it on again for another 3-5 minutes. Eventually just showing the muzzle corrects the behavior. What is important to remember is you have only a few seconds from the bad behavior to correction, otherwise they do not correlate the two.
