Feline Greenies are the key to preventing plaque and tartar buildup that can lead to dental problems for your cat. Greenies, the original green smart-treat, is the first dental cat treat worthy of the Greenies name. After testing the effects of Feline Greenies on tartar and plaque accumulation, an independent pet nutrition center found a:
37% reduction in dental tartar
19% reduction in plaque
21% reduction in gingivitus
Cats have a keener sense of taste then dogs, so we kept our finicky friends in mind when developing Feline Greenies. The results in a taste test against leading cat treats show cats chose Feline Greenies as their first choice, three times more frequently than the competition.

My American Bob Tail, Chloe, turned her nose up at first. But after a couple days she liked them.
My mutt cat, Sophie, was kind of "so so" about them at first. But Sophie is like that about everything. She thinks she's the Queen Bee. She too came around eventually.
My huge pure white, Razz-A-Ma-Tazz, went completely insane for Greenies. He would never eat out of my hand before. Now he jumps right up there and slams his face right into my palm to get Greenies! Purring as loud as a chain saw! When ever he hears me opening the package, even if he is clear across the house, you better watch out. He comes running to you at full throttle! I love it!

My Burmese (Eli) is super-picky but he loves Greenies and jumps into his cat perch for this treat whenever I open the packet. It seems to be helping his teeth stay white and shiny. Another reviewer mentioned it not helping their kitty's hairballs. I don't think this product is meant to control hairballs - not the right formulation, but it seems to control tooth tartar and 'kitty breath'.

I fed these treats to my two cats and, what do you know, both of them vomited them up within the same hour. They love the treats, they just get sick when they eat them. I will not buy these again because of it. It is unpleasent cleaning up green cat vomit from my carpet.
(P.S.-It did get rid of their 'hair balls'! lol)
