My husband and I were having to place our dogs arthritis medication all the way down their throat - with these pill pockets, they take them right down!!! great price too. I pay almost double for them at the pet store and at my vets office.

Love Pill Pockets, 6/17/2009

At first I thought they were just a fancy gimmick. Then after growing weary of my dog being too smart to be tricked into taking her pills, I tried pill pockets. It is so easy to give my dog pills now. She loves the taste. I love the ease. I prefer larger pockets, you can give small,large or multiple pills. My dog takes lots of pills and now she doesn't mind.

When I first purchased these pill pockets, I administered one to my male german shepherd. And if the treat isn't really smelly, then he tends to smell it and tried his treat first (Put it in his mouth and then spit it out). This pill pocket treat wasn't that smelly, I guess. He did not eat it right away. Therefore, he opened the pill pocket the first time, and his medicine fell out. Yet, today...he's so used to it that he eats it right away. I'm amazed. I'll recommend this treat for dogs that are hard to administer pills. But if this greenie company can make other favors, such as salmon or duck, then it would be even better. I do not exactly like to feed the two favors that it comes in on a daily basis, due to some of my pet's food allergies.

You try sticking your hand down a sick 80-pound pitbull's throat to give a pill, and you'll know why Greenie's is a life (and finger!) saver. Tried everything in the past to get her to take her meds and NOTHING worked. With Greenies, she willing takes her pills and thinks they are the greatest treats ever, and they are so easy to use. Thank you, thank you, thank you. They are a bit on the pricy side but well worth it!

Spendy, but super-effective, 12/19/2008

Typically, my Parson Russel will not notice a pill mixed with his food (dry/wet combo), but on the rare occasion when he needs to take a capsule, Greenies Pill Pockets are a life saver. My daughter (12) can handle the task and it doesn't make a mess. I can use the smaller Greenies for capsules and gently squish the product around the capsule. The bigger size is probably great for bigger dogs with bigger meds. Great product that makes administering meds painless for pets and people.

I have been so impressed with this product because it's easy to wrap around the capsule/ pill. You could buy any treat and try the same thing but you'll soon find that it's just not as easy as it is with this very pliable, very tasty *dog's point of view* little tool! I HIGHLY recommend it as I use these daily.

I have 2 dogs that must take medications daily and this had made both of our lives much easier. This was a teriffic make. Before these I had to disolve the pills in a syringe and force my poor boy to take his meds but now he takes them as a treat and enjoys med time. Greenies THANK YOU!

I fought with my dog everyday picking through whatever I tried to hide his pills in...no more. He jumps for the pill pockets now! He did actually get a hold of a whole bag and chewed and chewed through the bag of them....darn dog is getting to smart for me. These are worth it!

I have two Shih Tzus, who both take one pill a day, and would run away as soon as they heard the medicine vial. Now, they come running to me as soon as they hear the treat bag being opened! Well worth the price!

I have 2 dogs that need medications twice a day. When I open the cabinet door to get their meds, they are there anxiously waiting for their treat. I couldn't imagine having to go back to the old way. Price is great unless you use 4 a day like I do, but it is still much better than the frustration of trying to "pill" my dogs.
