Do yourself a favor, cat owners: buy this product to have even before you need it. I got a samlple of it from a new Cat Hospital in the area that was opening. Didn't need it for a few months till my cat needed an antibiotic. Tried to disguise the pill inside all his favorite foods w/no success. I hate trying to just force it down a cat's throat (afraid of causing choking!!) Finally I remembered these and he gobbled it right up! My only problem: the pill pockets are a bit small for a large pill and you may have to split the pill and use two pockets. But again, that is preferable to causing a possible choking situation!

after my large cat ingested poison, i had to give him vitamin k for a month and it was a NO-GO until i tried the pill pockets. now he knows when it's time and makes an incredible racket until i give him his 'treat'. don't know what's going to happen when he doesn't need the vit k anymore.

Giving my cat her nightly pill used to consist of chasing her around and several attempts to get the pill plunger in her mouth and hopefully have her swallow the pill. This worked approximately 50% of the time. With the Greenies Pill Pockets, she meows for her night time "treat."

My cat used to really go for the old pill pockets (The Silver colored package) when the moisture content was higher. He won't even touch the new (Green colored packge)with the lower moisture content. I've bought all of the old formula I can find, and there doesn't seem to be any competition.

We have been using Pill Pockets to give our cat medicine for over a year. Our cat loves them, and our other cat and our dog always line up for one too.
