Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice ball this is a good toy for dogs! August 31, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Long lasting! Our friend's dog (A shaggy mutt) has one one of these and it's the only one that hasn't been eaten. Even though it's torn in half, it's still his favorite. Great toy!! August 9, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Be careful with fetchers... My 2 1/2 year old German Shepherd is a the point that he's obsessed. He LOOOOVES fetch, and this is his absolute FAVORITE ball. We've gone through about 5 of them over the last 2 years and they hold up very well to his abuse. He loves that they bounce and that he can squeeze them. Unfortunately...they really are as tough as they say they are and after two years of fetching and catching these balls, they have worn down his canine teeth to stubs!! He will probably have to have some major dental work done in the next year. He has two of these balls left and they're on their last legs but I will not be getting him anymore due to his teeth. I'm now searching for a "softer" ball that will still bounce. Overall, they are GREAT for very strong destructive dogs, but if your dog loves to fetch with it - be careful. July 12, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Ate it up Dogs had fun with it while it lasted but they did tear pieces from it, looked out they were chewing gum,had to throw it away so they wouldn't get it stuck in their throats. June 5, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by AMAZING! After many toys destroyed I have found one to last a day! He loves these treat balls but always finds a way to destroy them. I have a dachshund so the dog isn't huge. But honestly this ball rocks! It bounces so even if there isn't treats in it we can play with it. I got the 4" just to keep him occupied and he loves it! Played 3 hours with it and it still has all the pieces. The sample treats that came with it are too small they just fall out. I put whole pieces of "pupcorn" in it and it takes him forever! Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Great Great! I got each of my dogs the Busy Buddy Kibble Nibble dog toy. One of them doesn't like it at all. I think she doesn't like that she has to be so aggressive with it in order to get the treats out (even after I cut the plastic off). I got her this toy as a replacement and she really loves it. She plays with it for a long time, while trying to get the kibble out, and it don't worry about her chewing it because it is very very durable. Great toy! March 9, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very durable! This ball keeps my dog busy when I put treats inside. She can destroy ANYTHING immediately, but this has held up. The Everlocking treats don't hold up for very long with my dog, but if I put some treats in that don't fit easily through the holes, it lasts quite a while. February 18, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Tough and Fun My two border collies are toy destructors of the first degree. Most toys don't last one day in my house. I bought two of these several months ago, and both are still intact! The dogs love rolling them around and getting treats out, and they chew and chew on the openings to the balls and haven't destroyed anything yet! I am very pleased with this purchase, and I highly suggest this toy if you have an aggressive chewer that gets bored easily. February 14, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by DUR.A.BLE My dog can destroy any toy in 5 minutes flat, except for this amazing little ball. We just stick a little treat inside and he can spend hours licking and trying to get it out. Amazing! January 2, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by The only thing that lasts I bought this ball for my German Shorthair 3 months ago and she hasn't put it down since. It's the perfect size - she can carry it around in her mouth, but it's too big for her to get a good enough grip on to tear it to shreds. And rubbery enough to play fetch in the house! I LOVE THIS BALL. December 16, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by the "Go To" toy We have 2 dogs (1 is a redtick coonhound and 1 is a mix that is probably lab/doberman). They are indoor dogs, but they usually like to spend some time outside, roughly 4 hours a day total. Over time it has gotten harder and harder to get them interested in running or chasing one another. This treat ball has done the trick. We let them outside after dinner, when they want to come in we start throwing the treat ball with a couple of milkbones in it. They go absolutely nuts chasing and tackling each other to get to this thing. It is truly the best dog toy I've ever purchased. We tend to only give it them when we want to wear them out, so I can't speak to heavy chewing eventhough one of ours is a very aggressive chewer. September 9, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Ball EVER!!!!! I started rescuing Pit Bulls 5 years ago and I have bought them almost every ball available. None of them lasted more than a week. My oldest dog, who has destroyed the black KONG toys...has had this ball for 3 months. Buy 2, in case one gets lost. I believe this one may truly be indestructible!!!! July 22, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Saved us from separation anxiety! This toy has been a savior! This toy has outlasted our "shark toothed" 13 month shih-poo, it looks just as new the day it arrived. On days she's not at doggy day camp, this keeps her entertained for hours.. and I seriously think has saved us from developing separation anxiety issues. :) Love this toy.. def. recommend it to everyone! Rated 5 out of 5 by I MEANT TO GIVE THIS BALL 5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD I forgot to give this ball a rating in my review. It is definitely worthy of 5 stars! June 12, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by LOVE This Toy! I have an 18 month old Westie who has jaws made for destruction. I purchased the smaller ball and we have had that one for months. Not only does he like it stuffed, but he likes to chew on it and play with it. I then decided to spring for the large ball, since it would give him a variety to play with and I have seen that the balls are virtually indestructible. He has a great time with that ball, also. It is a little over sized for him, but he really enjoys it. I highly recommend this toy! June 12, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Tough yet tender Our golden retriever considers it his mission to destroy all of his toys. We've had this one for about a month, and it still looks brand new. Our dog especially likes it because it's kind of squishy with some "give" when he bites into it (he won't use most rigid/hard chew toys). We like it because, unlike most soft/squishy toys that our dog likes, our pup hasn't been able to shred it. It gets bonus points because we can stuff treats into the middle, keeping it interesting and because the color (green) is within the dog's visual color spectrum. Great toy! May 27, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by amazingly durable yet easy on the mouth Like everyone else, I've got all raves all the durability. I stuff it with part of her food and hide it for my Pit mix (a major chewer!). My only qualm is the shape - it invariably ends up rolling under the king-sized bed, where neither Chickie nor I can get it back without a lot of work. March 22, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by This toy LASTS! I wanted a durable toy that our young catahoula wouldn't destroy. This has not only lasted, but she brings the ball to us to fill it with dog food. It's so much fun to watch her maneuver the ball--it's sharpened her intelligence and dexterity. I'm buying her another one just in case this one wears out! January 3, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great toy! This toy has held up to years of aggressive chewing for hours at a time! It's one of her top 2 favorite toys, and she'll play with it daily-if I put a treat in it; It bounces wonderfully, and is flexible enough for her to break up treats inside , without the rubber ripping or tearing. Awesome stuff! December 23, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by sounded good sorry but my dog had this chewed up in the first 10 min. the reviews sounded good but it didnt last here. December 5, 2009

do you think the large one is pit bull proof?
A shopper on Sep 22, 2014
Best Answer: I rarely put treats in mine (bought more than 3 years ago and in use daily by my 2 Australian Cattle Dogs). I love that these are tough to chew/destroy, but soft on mouths. My dogs play with these by tossing them in the air and chasing them. I also kick the balls, so dogs can fetch them. No need to pick up slobbery balls! They go a long way with little effort. Both dogs love to carry these balls and they store them in their beds when they are resting! Now I'm back for new ones, as one dog has lost hers in the horse paddock and there are now disputes over the remaining one!
