Easy to rip apart., 3/9/2011

I have two dogs: one aggressive chewer and one who doesn't chew much at all. Everything I get has to be tough enough for an aggressive chewer - almost all of our toys are left out. My dogs love to chew water bottles. But the aggressive chewer swallows the plastic. I have had one of these water bottle cover toys before and she chewed off the Velcro so I had to get rid of it. This toy has several pieces of Velcro, so that probably wouldn't have been an issue. Instead, she chewed open the fabric and got to both water bottles. The fabric isn't tough at all! I would only recommend this toy for dogs that aren't all about destroying everything (:

Awesome Toy!!!, 9/30/2010

My dogs LOVE Water Bottles, like most dogs, but they are smaller dogs and I am always concerned the plastic will break and cut their mouth. This toy is great!!! I wanted to give a little info - because the description was lacking, there is velcro on the bottom of the toy on two sides - so the watter bottles can be replaced when they get too destroyed. Also the fabric the toy is made of is a fairly thick canvas and the rope makes it good for tug of war & fetch too!!
