Sturdy Great Rope Toy, 7/5/2011

Very sturdy even for a large dog mine is medium boston terrier and loves it!! Will last so long and the blue part (which a dog can tell the color of blue which I did not know) smells really good..nice to have something Buttercup will not chew up in no time. Highly recommend.

Another toy bites the dust, 6/21/2011

My dog is only a 40 lb spaniel, but he's a chewer. After tearing apart the knots, I just gave him the swirl part to play with. It worked ok for a week or so until one day I noticed him being awful quiet. I went to investigate. He had EATEN THE BLUE SWIRL! (Except for a few small bits) Therfore, I don't recommnd for heavy chewers...

I do not trust rope toys with dogs. They tear them up and eat the strings...which could cause problems if not digested correctly!

Quad type not good for chewers, 8/23/2010

My APBT pup took an instant liking to the quad toy as soon as we gave it to her. I thought she'd like the little nubs on each rubber section bc it appears that she's teething. Unfortunately it took about 5 mins for her to dismantle the thin sections that connect the rubber portions. She has yet to bite through the rubber, but since she already ripped it, it's simply turned into a rop toy. I think i might invest in the sqirl form instead.
