Couldn't believe the positive reviews on this collar until it arrived. Top quality leather. Superb (American no less ! ) craftsmanship. Fits our German Shepherd perfectly using their sizing chart. Some advice: Our dog's neck measured 19 inches so the 21 inch collar fits perfectly. If your dog's neck measures an even number, add three inches, not one. The extra holes will make it work with that modification. Love it!

We've gone through numerous collars because our German Pointer likes to pull the Bullmastiff by the collar when they play. I purchased one of these collars for each of them almost a year ago, and you can't even detect teeth marks in the BM's collar (& our GP has some serious choppers). Both collars still look practically new. Additionally, the soft, padded lining prevents any wear of your pet's coat (which has happened to our BM on previous occasions). Finally, they look great - a proper collar for a larger size dog. Overall, the best leather collars I've ever owned & at the best price.

This is a gorgeous collar. Sizing is bad though. Instructions say to measure the dog neck and add 3 inches. My dog's neck is 10" and I ordered the 13" collar and I cannot even get any of the holes to work. 3.5 inches over neck size would have allowed me to use the longest hole. 4-5 inches over neck size would put it in the middle of the available holes. So I cannot use it and I cannot exchange it without paying shipping both ways. I'll just return it.

I ordered 6 of these, for my "babies", and they have lasted months, and still look great! I really like the deerskin lining. A GREAT collar that looks much more expensive. I wish they would offer a variety of colors!

My dog wears a 22" collar, so I thought the 23" would be fine. They measure the ENTIRE LENGTH of the collar, not the size that fits the dog. Who measures collars that way? I'm very disappointed.

Great collar, soft and beautiful.
It is a little wide though, so it doesn't look right on smaller dogs. We got it for our two shih tzus and a pug and although it looks great on a pug its a little chunky for the shih tzus. We'll have to get something a little girlier for them.

This collar is a beautiful, rich brown, well made collar that I see lasting a long time. I bought one for each of my three APBT's and they have held up really well and still look beautiful. It is easily washed (particularly the deerskin lining) with a mild soap and a soft toothbrush. There are no rough edges or rough stitches to rub the dog's neck raw as with some leather collars. The price cannot be beat either as I saw these at the Petstore for over $25.

I ordered the 23in X 1in for my boxer. The collar looked very nice from the pictures alone, and when it arrived it didn't disappoint.
It is made with quality materials and excellent craftsmanship. It is my first deer skin product and the lining is so soft one would think it won't hold up. But other reviewers say the collar is very durable. I recommend highly.

I bought 2 of these collars. 1 for our Shepherd and for our miniature long hair Dachshund. They're beautiful and stylish and the dogs act like they're not wearing a collar at all. Less scratching around the neck and hopefully the hair will grow back on their necks soon. I'm ordering the matching lead soon.

I bought this collar for one of my labs and it has been the most durable collar I ever bought. Great quality for a great price! My only complaint is that I wish it came in a 20" so that I could buy for my other lab.

This collar was purchased for a Red-Bi Aussie pup and is now two years old. Still looks great, feels great and does not damage her ruff or wear down her neck hair. She wears it everyday and loves the water. The brass does not stain her white neck hair.

I bought two of these collars for my chocolate lab pups. I got tired of trying to find stylish collars because they would always look worn or get broken right off the bat. These are nice looking and very durable collars. My male is outgrowing his so I am back to buy a bigger one. I think they are great for the quality and price.
