Comfort Zone with D.A.P. Stress Reducing Pheromone for Puppies and Dogs

Every year, thousands of dogs end up in animal shelters because of behavior problems. Most of these are caused by the dog’s natural reaction to stress, fear or separation issues. Comfort Zone® with D.A.P.® (Dog Appeasing Pheromone) products mimic the "appeasing" pheromones secreted by nursing mother dogs, sending a signal of comfort and safety to her puppies. When your dog or puppy senses the pheromone, he feels secure and comfortable, reducing his fear reactions and his urge to act out destructively through chewing, excessive barking, or house soiling.

Features:
  • One bottle lasts 4 weeks
  • Does not affect humans or other pets
  • Not a drug or tranquilizer; product is non-toxic and odorless
  • Will calm stress associated with separation anxiety, traveling, thunderstorms, and new home environments
  • Will reduce or completely stop behaviors such as (but not limited to): barking, whimpering/whining, urinating and defecating, and chewing

Instructions:
1. Remove bottle cap
2. Screw diffuser onto the bottle and tighten
3. Plug into an electric socket in the room your dog is in most
4. Replace bottle after 4 weeks
5. Allow 90 days for best results

Size:
48mL

How does it work?
The diffuser works by using a heating element to disperse the pheromone into the air. Once the pheromone is present, the pet breathes it in, and the pheromone attaches to a receptive organ called the vomeronasal organ located in the nasal cavity. The vomeronasal organ then signals the brain, via nerves, and a sense of well-being is established.

Works Great!!, 5/6/2011

Emily from Marlborough MA

I wasn't sure when I first bought this but willing to try anything to stop the chewing and accidents in the house while I was away. With in a couple weeks I noticed a huge difference with my little guy he stopped the accidents and power cords were lasting through the day. I recently ran out and he back at it again chewing through wires and having accidents while I'm at work. I recommend this to everyone that has a pup with some anxiety. Works Great and wouldn't go without it ever again!!

i wrote an earlier review on this product. So now after another year i am still buying this,it's great.Muffy still doesn't like anyone but me to hold her.But they can pet her if they sit in a chair and she chooses to go to them.I sometimes run out of it and my whole family can tell when we run out the nervousness and barking starts again. This is an amzing product and after a year and a half I can vouch for my dog muffy(i have 3 others)this works.

Does this really work Yes!!, 9/22/2007

Heidi from Nashville

I am definitely a skeptic. I took my 4 year old spastic, nervous, anxiety filled dog for obedience class and the trainer suggested getting one of these. I thought it sounded a little nuts but I was DESPERATE! Within a couple of days he had stopped chewing at his feet while I was gone and actually even walked on the leash better! I am a skeptic, but this stuff actually works!
