During the day I have to crate my 11 week old Pitbull puppy and she is not a big fan of it, yet. Well the first day I crated her, I foolishly gave her full run of her 42" crate with the bumper lining in it and the cover of the crate. Well I got home to a DRIED, HARD poop smear fest. I was so worried that the staining from her poo would not wash off of the Khaki cratewear. Well not only did it (thansks to Nature's Miracle Pet Detergent too) but it maintained it's length and shape. I was afraid that it would shrink in the dryer, even on the dleicate cycle. No need to worry. Since then I have taken the bumper out, put her divider up and only the cover remains on the crate. She has gotten poo on the cover and holds well with each wash. I recommend that if you have a puppy new to crating, only use the cover and then when they can be trusted not to mess, add back in the bed and bumper. I personally cannot wait until she gets to that age, because when you put it all together, it looks FAB! My mom really likes the cover as well, great home estetic (sp?) and it makes the crate look so much more homey then w/o it. Recommend to shop around for price, thus far dog.com had the best deal!

Terrified of T-storms, 10/23/2008

She is not as scared as before. Honey is my wonderful Golden Retriever! Before I saw this product, I didn't know what to do. I would bring her in the laundry room and give her something to calm her BUT, as soon as any loud noise,etc. would be heard, she was clawing desperately at the door and sometimes it was hard enough to get in the house(Landlord not happy)Now she runs inside and goes straight into her den of safety! I am getting another for my English Mastiff puppy, so she can come in also. Thank you for creating such a great product.

This set is WONDERFUL, and dog.com made it so affordable! Our cockapoo loves her "den," and it makes the crate's appearance a little nicer. The side pads are great for traveling to ensure comfort.
